Now Hiring: Transition House Support Workers

Positions Available: Transition House Support Worker, Permanent 0.5 time.Transition House Support Worker, casual / on-call
Rate of Pay: $18.15 – $21.14/ hr (JJEP Wage Grid Level 10)
Hours: 0.5 Position (18.72 hours/week). Position is shift work, 2 days on and 4 days off (mornings 8:00-16:00; afternoons 16:00-24.00; evenings 24:00-8:00). Casual positions are on-call.


The employee is NOT required to use her automobile in the performance of her duties.

This position requires Union membership; accepted applicant will need to join BCGEU.


Qualifications: Diploma in a related human/social service field and 1 year related human/social service experience Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Must have a valid certification in Standard First Aid (2-day course) with a CPR-C component.
